Stevie Micheli is from Long Island, NY. She is currently a Community Engagement Specialist for SCDHEC, serving York and Fairfield counties. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in writing from Stony Brook University and then spent a year in Zambia with the Peace Corps where her passion for public health grew. After her time in the Peace Corps, she decided to pursue a master's degree in public health at East Tennessee State University. After graduation, she moved to Charlotte where she loves to be outside whenever she can. When not outside, she loves to read and listen to music or podcasts!
